Joining the SAIPA as a Student Affiliate Member is R100.00 (VAT Inclusive) annually and gives you access to webinars and the Accounting Indaba at a discounted fee as well as to technical updates and a quarterly newsletter.

How to Become a Student Affiliate Member

To qualify to become a SAIPA Student Affiliate Member, you will need to comply with the following requirements:

  • Be registered with a higher education institution in South Africa or abroad and you must be studying towards an accountancy qualification.
  • Upload a certified copy of your Identity Document or Passport.
  • Upload a certified copy of proof of registration.

* The SAIPA Student Affiliate membership is available to full or part time students enrolled at a tertiary institution in South Africa or abroad. If you no longer attend a higher education institution and you have completed the SAIPA Learnership  and you have been declared Competent in the Professional Evaluations Assessment  and you  qualify for Professional Accountant (SA) designation, please apply for the SAIPA Membership that aligns with your status.

As a Student Affiliate Member of  SAIPA you will need to abide by SAIPA’s Constitution and By-Laws and Code of  Conduct. 

Membership only valid for the period in which registered with a tertiary institution studying towards accounting qualification.

The onus is on you to update your contact information as well as changes in your academic studies.
