SAIPA and CPA Ireland sign a Mutual Recognition Agreement
Offering members added global recognition and career opportunitiesJohannesburg, South Africa – 17 November 2023: The South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) and CPA Ireland have finalised the signing of the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) at the IFAC Council Meeting in Vienna on 16 November 2023.
The signing of the MRA builds on the strategic and mutually beneficial relationship between the two leading accountancy organisations, which is integral to the continued global recognition and career opportunities for our members. Under the agreement, members who meet the requirements of either body will be considered for membership by the other body and enjoy the benefits that both organisations can offer.

This partnership marks the strengthening of our long-standing relationship with CPA Ireland and signals a significant stride towards fostering a dynamic and innovative environment for our members,” says Shahied Daniels, Chief Executive at SAIPA.
