These standards present a substantial development and change for practitioners and stakeholders, since they include significant shifts in how firms manage quality. The quality management standards including International Standard on Quality Management (ISQM 1 &2) and International Standard on Auditing 220 (ISA 220) are applicable to all firms that perform audits or reviews of financial statements, or other assurance or related services engagements.
