Fictitious and Unverified Reports

News outlets and social media platforms are flooded daily with fictitious and unverified reports, which have become commonly known as ‘fake news’. We would like to advise our members that the most trustworthy sources of information regarding the Institute are our own platforms, such as our website and social media accounts, or official statements that have been issued. We encourage all members to exercise discretion when engaging with news from less credible sources like WhatsApp groups, where little due diligence is done to ensure the accuracy of what is being shared. Should you come across a story that appears odd or for which you would like more clarity, SAIPA is ready and able to assist in clearing up any confusion.
