Delay of Professional
Evaluation 11 July Exam ResultsCandidates who took their SAIPA™ Professional Evaluation (PE) on 11 July 2020 were the first group ever to complete the competency-based assessment entirely online. This new format is one of the Institute’s many initiatives to preserve its service delivery excellence during the Coronavirus Lockdown.
ONLINE EXAMINATIONS A SUCCESS
Although power disruptions in some areas caused minor hiccups, these were beyond SAIPA™’s control and did little to upset the event. We are pleased to report that, overall, the assessments went smoothly. The Institute partnered with an experienced external service provider to facilitate the process. Although we expected some teething problems, we were delighted with the effectiveness of the virtual assessments. By embracing digital transformation across the Institute, we are building better services that are not only up to the current crisis but will support our members throughout their journey towards 4IR readiness.
The examination represents the end of every aspiring Professional Accountant (SA)’s Initial Professional Development (IPD) phase of training and is a rite of passage to attaining full SAIPA™ membership.
SLIGHT DELAY IN MARKING PROCESSES
Initially, SAIPA™ communicated that the release of results will be on 15 August 2020. However, there has been a slight delay due to the stringent marking process. As a result, final results will now be released on 27 August 2020.
OUTSTANDING FEES AND LOGBOOKS
Candidates are encouraged to settle any outstanding fees, logbooks and complete any outstanding processes to ensure that their results are released. Failure to adhere to this may result in results being withheld. Candidates must use their unique SAIPA™ number to access results on MySAIPA.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
SAIPA™ Education, Training and Membership Department
