Mr Clayton Ellis is a Professional Accountant (SA) with over two decades of experience in accounting, auditing and taxation. His career includes senior accounting and financial management roles in both the private and nonprofit sectors, with responsibilities covering financial reporting, asset management and governance of financial operations.

He has previously served as Chairman of the SAIPA Eastern Region and the SAIPA North Coast District. Mr Ellis joined the Board in June 2025, bringing a fresh perspective on the role of SAIPA within the accountancy profession.
