SAIPA Accounting iNdaba 2019
SAIPA Accounting iNdaba 2019, “The Future-Ready Professional Accountant in the 4th Industrial Revolution” conference was a huge success with various subject matters and international authorities giving outstanding presentations and panel discussions to prepare Professional Accountants as future-ready and gear them with tools needed to face the challenges of emerging technologies. The 3-day long event underpinned importance of embracing the 4IR technologies and other trending topics, such as IFRS, SMPs, Tax and Public Sector Accounting.

The Gala Dinner
On 14 August, SAIPA hosted a gala dinner where its Accounting & Tax Thesis Competition winners were awarded. This initiative recognises outstanding achievements in accounting and tax research. The competition has been held annually for the last ten years.
In addition, the Top 3 candidates from SAIPA’s Professional Evaluation exam in November 2018 and May 2019 were honoured.
