Terms and Conditions
  1. Introduction

    1. These terms and conditions govern access to MySAIPA and use of the Website, all applications for designations and/or licenses and the payment of programme attedance fees.
    2. Receipt of a membership application is taken as confirmation that you have read, understood and accepted  SAIPAs Protection of Personal Information Consent and Membership Terms and Conditions
    3. No ceding, delegation or otherwise transferring prior approval, which approval will be given at our sole discretion.
    4. Failure to comply with any provisions of these Terms and Conditions, Code of Conduct and Constitution and By-Laws and/or other rules, you will be subjected to SAIPA’s disciplinary procedures, which may result in suspension or termination of programme attendance.
    5. Any personal, company contact and any other details, as provided by you, are held on a central database and are deemed as being true and correct.
  1. Fees

    1. Fees to the Institute is on an individual basis and as such you are personally responsible for ensuring the payment of all monies due to the Institute.
    2. Details of the Project Achiever Fee, Administration Fee (non-refundable and not applicable to SAIPA trainees), and Professional Evaluation Assessment fee you will have to pay to SAIPA are set out on SAIPA’s website on the Project Achiever page and on the landing page when you complete your application.
    3. Fees are inclusive of VAT and are payable at the standard VAT charges on all services directed from South Africa. Non-resident (as defined by SARS) candidates who have supplied SAIPA with proof of residence will not be liable for VAT.
    4. FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Seta) and other funded applicants are liable to pay the fees displayed on our website should they fail to take the Professional Evaluations Assessment.
    5. Invoices are generated in the individual capacity of applicants and are due on presentation.
    6. A Non-Refundable administration fee is applicable to all new applications of all categories regardless the outcome. Same is applicable to unsuccessful applications.
    7. If an overpayment was made, you must notify the Project Achiever Administrators at projectachiever@saipa.co.za.
    8. An interest will be levied in line with the National Credit Act on any outstanding fees.
    9. Fees are not refundable in the event of cancellations.
    10. Fees not received within the stipulated time frame will result in the exclusion of the Project Achiever Programme.
    11. Debtors may be referred to third party debt collection agencies and may be placed on the National Credit Bureau.
  1. Applications

    1. Candidates undertake to comply with the provisions of the SAIPA constitution and By-Laws and any other rules or applicable provisions for as long they are on the Project Achiever Programme.
    2. SAIPA will be entitled to rely on the truth and accuracy of the information and supporting documentation provided.
    3. Candidates take responsibility for updating personal information on MySAIPA. Alternatively, candidates will inform the Project Achiever Administrators at projectachiever@saipa.co.za
  1. Reference Checks

    1. SAIPA may verify individual credit records with any credit reference agency.
    2. SAIPA may verify identity, fraud prevention and information relating application through the South African Fraud Prevention Service or in relation to any other legislation as required by Law.
    3. SAIPA may carry out education history and criminal verification.
    4. SAIPA may carry out employment reference verification.
  1. Terms of Use: Website, MySAIPA

    1. The Institute’s website and MySAIPA self-service portal are definitive sources to provide information and service to members.
    2. To access MYSAIPA you are required to register an account and submit certain personal information, such as your names, e-mail address and billing information. Thereafter, you will be assigned a unique username and password.
    3. You are responsible for keeping their MySAIPA password confidential and, in the event that it was compromised. SAIPA shall be informed if such information was compromised and not be liable for any loss or damage suffered in any way whatsoever.
    4. The Institute’s website may provide links to other websites, as a convenience to you. SAIPA is not responsible for the content of any linked site and the inclusion of any link on this site does not imply endorsement by SAIPA of any other websites or their products or services.
    5. All intellectual property is owned by or licensed to SAIPA and may not be used without our prior written consent.
    6. In terms of Chapter 3 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, in visiting our website and/or communicating with us by electronic means, members acknowledge that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communication sent by us satisfy any legal requirement including and not limited to the requirement that such communication should be in writing.
  1. Your Pledge

    As a candidate on the Project Achiever Programme you commit yourself to the ideals and objectives of the programme and will abide by the clauses below to ensure that you develop yourself and to complete the programme with success:

    Clause 1: You are fully committed to the programme.

    Clause 2: You will be fully present during the sessions in body, heart, soul and conviction.

    Clause 3: You will participate and engage in the sessions by asking questions, giving responses to learn.

    Clause 4: You will further give your best in everything for the duration of the programme by preparing well before sessions.

    Clause 5: You will, always, act as a responsible person and show respect to all stakeholders of the programme by listening, tolerating and motivating other candidates to achieve success.

    Clause 6: You will take ownership of your own progress, which will include submitting all assessments (i.e., Weekly Assessments, IPD Assessment and the Professional Evaluation Assessment) as and when required to do so, meeting all SAIPA’s deadlines and attending all Saturday classes and extra classes.
