The Africa Congress of Accountants (ACOA) is a premier event of the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA). It is hosted every two years by a PAFA Member and brings together various stakeholders interested in the development of Africa to examine pertinent subjects relating to the role of finance and accountancy professionals in the rising of Africa.The previous five Congresses were hosted in Kenya, Ghana, Mauritius, Uganda and Morocco, each drawing more than 1 500 delegates from Africa, America, Asia and Europe, and dozens of speakers who facilitated powerful dialogue driving tangible outcomes.
Technology has become indispensable in all sectors and spheres of society, from retailing, manufacturing and mining to advocacy, and poses challenges and opportunities not only in production but also in consumption as it is changing the way we live and interpret the world, our beliefs, values and inspirations. ACOA2021, hosted by Order of Accountants and Auditors of Mozambique (OCAM) under the theme Embracing the Fourth Industrial Revolution, will provide a platform to explore new ideas, business models, products and services necessary to participate in innovation-driven ecosystems.
