Do your CPD on TV – with MCAtv

MCAtv is a subscription service broadcasting on Dstv’s Commercial Channel for accounting professionals, where programmes are approved for structured CPD by SAIPA.

The service offers an extremely cost effective way of doing CPD and is also ideal for those in outlying areas who experience difficulty in attending seminars in metropolitan areas.

MCAtv broadcasts to Southern Africa and is accessible to all with DStv decoders, regardless of the Dstv subscribed for. They broadcast 20 programmes a year, February to November, at 20h00 every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, and subscribers are reminded via SMS. Presentation notes are emailed to subscribers the Monday prior to broadcast.

CPD is logged on their website and subscribers are provided with a username and password to answer a few questions on the programme and your hour is then logged by MCAtv with SAIPA.
